I'm Lena
I was born and raised in, and now proudly offer the women and femme presenting people of Milton and surrounding areas a place to be authentically themselves and fully disconnected from the outside world.
Are you burnt out? Do you not have the time to put towards yourself and your appearance the way you would like to? The way you deserve to? I FEEL YOU! And I see you! I am here to help you get realigned with who you truly are, inside and out. You cannot pour from an empty cup; I am here to fill it for you!
How?
My specialties include skincare in the form of rituals and full body waxing. My passion in these services go back to my own challenges I've dealt with my whole life, as well as it being tied to how little attention I gave my skin or shower routine when my schedule revolved around my tiny boss. Let me take the stress off your hands, and help you feel confident!
When I am not in the salon, I am often at the gym working towards my strength and health goals. I make sure to take care of myself and prioritize my health so that I am able to energetically and enthusiastically show up for my daughter.
I value a work/life balance, so I handle most things regarding appointments digitally so that I don't take time away from family when I am home! This is My Story.
Against all my plans, I became a mom at age 21, and though it has been the most rewarding experience of my life, it has come with the challenge of rediscovering who I am outside of my new role. My goal is to be the kind of person that I needed when I was lost, to anyone who steps through my door.
When I say lost, I mean my sense of self was completely destroyed. I went from a 19-20 year old who was confident, in the gym 6 times a week, in tune with herself spiritually to a 21 almost 22 year old who felt and looked like the life was drained from her. I became so overwhelmed not only with my new responsibilities and the guilt of taking any time to myself, but also the pressures society and the adults around me, the judgement and backhanded comments I would receive if I took time for myself. So I stopped. I lost a lot of my hair, I lost a lot of weight, my acne raged, and my confidence plummeted.
It was through the help of beauty professionals I trusted that I started feeling better and relearning who I was and who I wanted to be. It all started with a hair cut. That's how I know MY services can hold the same power- can have the same effect on others who may need the extra boost and TLC like I did. It wasn't long after that that I got a job at that salon and decided to go back to school for Esthetics in order to learn how to give back to other people who were in a similar and vulnerable position in their lives.
And so Oh SNAP! Aligned Beauty Studio was brought to life in 2021. SNAP, when I came up with my business name, was chosen because they are my daughter's initials. She inspired me to go for all of this. It also means the place where Selfcare Nurtures your Aligned Purpose. Because I believe a little extra selfcare can really show you who the hell you are.
My Approach
First, I burn sage in my space before the start of every day. I work with a LOT of people, and in order to make my space feel as welcoming and safe as possible, I believe the energy should be clean and untouched.

I offer affirmation card pullings before any service, but they are included in both my Sacred Cleansing and Goddess Transformation Skin Rituals along with somatic energy and chakra work during the healing facial massages. Crystal healing is also a deluxe add on to any service.

Last and certainly not least, in my studio, you only get the highest quality completely natural products that are sustainably sourced and certified organic! I try to avoid dyes, preservatives, and other harmful additives in my personal products at home, so I hold the products I use on my guests to the same standard!
